Juno Shorts

For this repeat design project, I decided to create a pattern from an illustration of my pet parrot, Juno. Below is the initial reference photo, digital illustration, and repeated pattern.

While printing I used both black and white ink to give the design contrast and depth and printed on a lime green cotton fabric.
Next, I heat set the ink and cut out my pattern pieces.
Finally, I sewed the fabric into shorts and got approval from the man himself!
