Plants Help People (PHP) is an initiative aiming to demystify the experience of successfully owning and taking care of houseplants to improve mental health.
Its friendly and playful approach makes the learning experience less daunting and more rewarding.

The goal of PHP is to make plant care more accessible for everyone and to educate on the benefits of having houseplants in your space. Simplifying the experience will lead to healthier plants and thus, healthier people.
I wanted to create a system that would tell people exactly what they need to know about their plants in an easy, efficient way. I designed these plant stakes to do just that, displaying the four most important aspects to know: the name, watering, lighting, and if it's pet safe.
I designed this sticker as a cheeky way to remind people of the healing qualities plants have. They were available to take from a leaf-shaped bowl throughout the exhibition.
The final result encapsulated the essence of biophilia in a very relatable fashion, replicating the look of a plant lover's home.
